The project is made up of 10 storeys, a ground floor and basemen. The cultural venue is set across the basement and ground floor, with café/bar/amenity space across the ground, first, second, and third floors. The remaining floors provide 321 co-living apartments of much-needed purpose-built shared housing, as a refreshed, reimagined and more appropriate update from the previous scheme.

With a roof garden to the second floor and stepped terraces to each residential floor above, the building provides an attractive exterior and offers valuable outdoor amenity for its future residents. The third floor will feature a sun terrace with a raised planter and scented garden.

It will be a highly sustainable building designed to BREEAM Excellent and Low Energy Passivhaus standards, incorporating renewable energy and high thermal efficiency measures. The construction works commenced in June 2023 and the expected completion date is Q12026.

In coordination with the design team, we devised a strategic programme to fast-track key construction phases, prioritising demolition, piling, and main construction. Working closely with local authorities, we crafted an efficient construction and logistics strategy. Additionally, we collaborated with the client on a successful Section 73 submission, securing approval for a two-storey extension to enhance the development. Our proactive approach reflects our commitment to optimising timelines and project outcomes.
